“Creating sound as well as beauty in a garden environment is what I want to achieve with my water features” says Paul

We can tailor-make a pond to suit any garden, from small ornamental fish ponds, up to large scale woodland lakes. We have created ponds and water features using pond liners and fibre glassed Koi Carp ponds.

Ponds and water features always add interest to a garden - not only does water encourage wildlife, but the sound of running water can also bring a sense of tranquillity and relaxation to the garden

Paul Scotland Landscapes have constructed many types of waterfalls in many different sizes .The largest  waterfall we have constructed to date used 20 tons of material and throws over 9,000 gallons of water an hour.

A gardening tale – Paul Scotland Landscapes was asked to design a garden in Eccleston.  Created with a dramatic water feature using large rocks with plants to suggest a semi-exotic feel akin to the Channel Islands. This landscaped garden was built using local source product. Featuring sandstone rock sourced from Huddersfield together with top soil from Ormskirk and gravel from Preston. The pond liner comes with a 50 year guarantee and a pump used to create the gushing waterfall at a rate of 5,300 gallons an hour.

The new waterfall adds sound as well as beauty to the garden and large rocks placed in the opposite corner balanced the view, while full use was made of the surrounding trees to extend the garden. Once the main construction was finished planting began

As with the rest of his gardens Paul personally chooses all the plants to ensure they are of the best quality. . Plants which cope well with shade were planted round the base of trunks of trees remaining in the garden.
